About the Peetam

A Sacred Abode of Divine Grace

On the tranquil banks of Rayalacheruvu lake at the foothills of Tirumala — a Shakti kshetram in the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya, established with one principle: woman herself is the Goddess.

Our Story
Founded on a Divine Calling

Sri Mathaji received indications from Goddess Kaali to establish a temple in keeping with the Saaktheya tradition. Sri Swamiji travelled to Rayalacheruvu with his disciples, and — for the first time in India — the most powerful idols of Sri Marakatha Sakthi Kaali along with several unique deities were consecrated together on this two-acre lakeside site.

Our Mission
Woman Herself is the Goddess

Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devatāh — where woman is honoured, there divinity blossoms. Ours is the only tradition where the supreme energy, Sakthi, is worshipped in feminine form, and where every feminine form is worshipped as Sakthi. To restore the dignity, equality and greatness of women is the mission of Sri Sakthi Peetam.
